Mould Identification

Identifying mould is sometimes the most challenging aspect of mould removal. Sometimes it is important to aid diagnosis or choice of medication from a GP, if they suspect mould to be the cause of an illness. In these cases we provide an ATB swab test, to identify the species of mould, so medical concerns may be addressed. We can also conduct an air sample, to check for spore contamination in the air.

We will provide a full detailed report, showing the findings, prevention recommendations, and any remediation work that might be needed. The report also includes moisture and humidity readings, which it vital to keep track of to prevent repeat mould growth.

Air-o-cell sampling

This method of sampling determines the level of airborne mould spores, and if this is unusually high. This can help determine if a more thorough investigation is warranted for mould removal.

Swab sampling

This is in addition to the technical survey, and determines the species of mould. Included in this are a full, detailed report, showing the findings, prevention recommendations, and remediation work required.
